James McFadden has been named the Weirton Elks Lodge 1801 "Teenager of the Month" for January. James is a senior at Madonna High School, and has a grade point average of 4.0, and a score of 30 on his ACT exam. He is captain of the Blue Don basketball team and co-captain of the school's golf team. His honors and memberships include National Honor Society; JETS; Math, Science and Civics teams; and the National Honor Roll. He is a member and senior representative of Interact, and was the club's vocational minister in his junior year. James has been a four-year member of SADD, Pro-Life and Prayer Clubs, and three years in the Drama Club. His volunteer work includes Lend-A-Hand for Appalachia, Vacation Bible School, Community Bread Basket, youth basketball camp and at his church. His hobby is golf, and he was previously employed at Kings Creek Golf Club. He plans to study law at West Virginia University
