Tuition Rate for 2010-11 School Year
The tuition rate and fees for the 2010-11 school year will be as follows:
In Parish Tuition Rates
Single: $3,095.00
Second Student: $1,600.00
Family Rate: $5,100.00
Out of Parish Rates
Single: $3850.00
Second Student: $1,900.00
Family Rate: $6,100.00
Fees Schedule
Registration Fee: $25.00
Textbook Fee: $125
Technology Fee: $50
Activities Fee: $50
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE PROCEDURE
Financial assistance is available to all eligible students attending Weirton Madonna High School. Catholic students must apply for aid from the Wheeling-Charleston Diocese before they will be considered for financial aid through funds available at Weirton Madonna. Non-Catholic students are encouraged to submit a financial aid request for Madonna’s assistance funds. Appropriate financial aid forms are available in the office. A committee comprised of the school principal, school board members and faculty members will review applications for Madonna’s assistance funds.
Financial assistance will be awarded based on the following:
1. Proper completion of all required materials, that is, letters of recommendation, completed application, and a 1040 tax form
2. The financial need of the individual applicant. This need will be based on family size, 1040 tax form, and the number of children in school
3. Grade point average
4. Standardized test scores
Notification to scholarship recipients will be made by the administration.
